Smith-Dahmer Associates Team with Whirlpool and Habitat for Humanity in Their 2009 Four Home Blitz
Watch out, SDA is using power tools again! For the second year, SDA’s Consumer Insight Strategy Team teamed with Whirlpool Corporation’s Insight and Strategy Team in one of their Habitat for Humanity builds.
On August 15, Smith-Dahmer Associates helped landscape, paint and clean some of the final homes in a Southwestern Michigan development known as Crystal Estates. Once the homes are occupied, the development will house 21 families. According to Smith-Dahmer Associate Jeanne Query, “It’s a great feeling knowing that you can help someone out, even if it’s just painting for the day...it’s amazing to see what can be accomplished when so many people volunteer their time and energy!”
This year’s project was part of an ambitious effort to build four homes in just six weeks. SDA was thrilled to work alongside Whirlpool employees and the homes’ future residents.
